FIFA tok say dem make dis decision sake of di unusual timing of di World Cup competition.

Di Covid-19 pandemic also influence di decision to expand the teams. FIFA add.

For tori wey di govaning body yan dem say dis one na to add additional flexibility due to di unique timing of the 2022 World Cup 2022.

And also dis one go reduce di Covid-19 pandemic effect on squads before and during di tournaments.

So in view of dis di maximum number of players for released list don increase from 35 to 55.

Di number of players on top di final list don also increase to at least 23 and maximum of 26.

Only 26 people (15 substitutes and 11 team officials and one of dis officials must be team doctor) go dey allowed for team bench.

Dis decision dey come one week afta football rules body IFAB approve five substitutes for all high level match.

IFAB also tok say team fit name 15 substitutes for dia team sheet instead of di usual 12.

Di 2022 World Cup go kick off for Qatar on Monday November 21 for inside di Al Thumama Stadium.

Sadio Mane Senegal go face Netherlands for Group A and di host kontiri Qatar go jam Ecuador for di Al Bayt Stadium.

32 teams go play and only one team go lift di Cup for di end.
